I'm about to put a deposit down on a Speed Triple R :D

It comes with the Arrow slip on exhausts with removable baffle/db killer. Can I just remove them without remapping or anything like that? Should I be breaking the bike in before removing it?

Thanks.

The arrow map cripples performance by a good couple of bhp. Most people with aftermarket exhausts including the official arrows leave the stock map for the extra power even though you lose 1-2 mpg.

Would that be noticeable on the road though? They claim a 3ps performance increase with the db killer removed, whatever that means.

In fact, maybe that's answered my question... on the Triumph site, they even say "up to 3ps with the db killer removed" which kind of says to me that it's fine to take it out without remapping? Lots of different answers everywhere though, some saying you should remap some say not

The more popping and banging the better :D

Think I'm going to run it in as recommended by Triumph, then take the baffles out and see how I go.

Thanks for all the help :)
