Removing Chipset drivers

....is there any way to actually do this? The Intel chipset device software I installed from my ASUS support CD (which I believe to be causing some problems with this new rig) doesn't appear on the add/remove programs list, and installing the one I downloaded from the Intel site doesn't appear to actually do anything. Perhaps this means they're the same version but i'm convinced there is an error with my original install SOMEWHERE.

I figured this might be a device manager job but couldn't identify what exactly I need to remove as there's a lot there and i'm assuming there's more than one...

Can anyone help? System issues really driving me mad...

Hmm, would be brilliant except it doesn't seem to have support for my P35 chipset stuff. Still, thanks for the info, will no doubt be useful for something else :)

are you using xp or vista as im sure you can right click on the chipset driver in device manager click uninstall and tick the box to delete the driver from the system. but only in vista
