Removing drivers?

I've just splurged on a modest update and am replacing my trusty old AMD HD6850 with an NVidia GTX1050Ti.

What's the easiest way to remove the old AMD drivers and switch to NVida? Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?

Windows 10

Cheers.

I just upgraded from exactly the same card
I used the AMD driver cleaner from their site.

Cheers, that's a useful nugget of information. I'd not looked there. I did a look on the Nvidia site and they just had a link to a walk through on how to do it via windows.

Well I know I've only had this card going for a couple of hours but I'm quite impressed considering it's a "low-end" card. I expected it to be quicker, but I wasn't expecting it to improve the crispness and clarity in Windows. Chuffed at that.

Thanks for the help folks.

The 1050ti isn't a bad card really. It's never going to be amazing, but the 6850 is quite an old card now so will definitely see a nice improvement

You should see a very nice bump in performance over the 6850. :)

At the moment I'm very pleased with it. I'm only an occasional gamer so the 6850 held up quite well. That said some of the newer titles were beyond it. I may revisit Xcom2 and TombRaider at some point.
