Removing dye stains from cpu block?

Does anyone know a way to remove the dye stains from a cpu block??

As you can see from the photo my EK cpu block as become dyed from their coolant, is there any way I can clean this? I thought possibly alcohol cleaning solution. Though I'm not sure if this would damage the plexi or the nickle

I know this may sound like a completely stupid question but would I be able to take the block apart with out causing permanent damage to the seal? As thats the only way I could imagine you would be able to use cleaning alcohol without getting on the plexi.

Fair enough thanks for all the advice, won't have to buy a new CPU block now woohoo, will look into putting The Thing under water as soon as I can.
