today whilst going to get some lunch i was hit by an egg, thrown from an apartment block which hit my belt and went all down my trousers. im trying to find a way to get rid of the egg, without having to take it to the cleaners. a cold wash hasnt helped, any ideas?

Unlucky. Washing up liquid in lukewarm water, might want to test a discreet area of the fabric first.

I remember doing that as a young teenager. My mate threw one at a slightly mentally handicapped bloke once and hit him on the forehead. He chased after my mate. The egg somehow made his forehead bleed too

So harsh thinking back lol.

Step 1: Put the frying pan on with a little oil in it.
Step 2: Put your eggy part of you trousers in the pan and wait until the egg is cooked.
Step 3: Eat the cooked egg from the groin part of you trousers and hope that no one ever mentions what they've just witnessed :D

lol I met a woman who works in a dry cleaner and apparently it's quite common for men hand in smart clothes with dodgy stains around the crotch.

Egg eh? :p

/Dubious

One time in the mens toilets after going toilet I pressed the soap dispenser to wash my hands, a jet of white sticky liquid shot out of the nozzle and it missed my hands...and guess where it went. Then someone came into the toilets and saw white liquid around my crotch trousers.

I may have had a couple of guinesses this evening, but that has to be the funniest thread opener ever! :D

This is what the internet advises....

Stain Removal Step 1.
Use a dull knife or a spoon to remove as much of the eggy residue as you can. Dab the rest of the stained area with a clean absorbent cloth to absorb any eggy residue.

Stain Removal Step 2.
Sponge cool water onto the front and back of the stain, allowing the water to soak in and loosen the egg.

Stain Removal Step 3.
If the stain is dried and crusted onto the fabric you may need to rub some liquid laundry detergent gently onto the stained area.

Stain Removal Step 4.
Soak the egg stain in cold water, occasionally rubbing between your fingers, until the stain starts to soften and break down.

lol, i love the way you say that like it's the most common thing in the world. :p

Not as uncommon as you'd imagine! I got hit in the back of the head by an egg on Saturday afternoon while I was walking to the pub..

Nick, Mr Marshall announced it in assembly, be prepared for some eggcellent comments tomorrow, oh and some people laughing at you!
