Removing Errors from Device Manager

In every build I've ever made, I always have a couple of familiar exclamation marks in my device manager section! With my new build (in my sig), I'm determined to get rid of them!

I have a warning on (i) the Ethernet Controller and (ii) PCI Simple Communications Controller.

In each case, it says the drivers are not installed for these devices. But how do I even know what devices they are in order to search for the one I need to download? Auto search doesn't work.

In all respects the PC runs fine. Any idea what I can do to sort these out?

go to the asrock site and download all the drivers. job done.
the error your talking of is hardware that you OS doesn't know how to use, you need to install all the drivers

OK thanks. Sorted one out! The ethernet controller.

I had installed something called realtek controller but not the intel one. Why do you need both?

Turns out number 2, after some googling is the Intel Engine Management Gumf. I don't think I need it but device manager is now looking beautifully clean

I had the same problem with my Maximus VII hero board took ages to sort it out but got there in the end
