Removing Flash from Firefox

Quick question with Firefox and Flash. I'm trying to play a Flash game but the Flash installation appears to be up the spout. Tried downloading the latest version but it hasn't fixed it. How do I manually take Flash out so that I can give it a clean install?

well if you uninstall firefox and delete the mozilla firefox folder in c:\program files, that'll do it.

now re-install and you're good to go. and the best thing is, all your settings are kept intact as they are stored in documents and settings and are left untouched by firefox's un installer.
