Removing Floor Bolts...

Hey,

I've hit a problem while trying to remove the seats in my 205 and replace them. A couple of the bolt/screw things (torx head) have rounded off - and as such I can't get the seats out.

Any ideas?

cut across them with a hacksaw and use a flat head screwdriver

The only thing is, they're pretty stuck in the floor (probably rusted in) so i think i'd just bend the screwdriver

Cut/grind/file two flat sides on it and get a spanner on.

oh yeah, forgot to mention one other thing - its still attached to the seat frame, so its hidden inside the rail, so to speak.

Or drill them out.

You should use a Torex socket set and press down hard in future.

I did, but they were already kind of rounded off. I had most of my bloody weight on the thing

well my dad's found a solution - cut the top off the bolts and wind them out from below the car.
