does removing the plastic shroud around the heatsink void the warrenty at all? I wasn't sure if they have ways to tell if its been removed or not. I had to remove it as gpu temps of 85c and vrm temps of 80c isn't acceptable.
When I removed it I was seriously shocked at how poor the amd 7950 heatsink is, its no more than 3" x 3"
the gpu temps are now 68 , rises to 70c and the vrm at 66c so deffantly helped removing it!
I suppose it doesn't matter as I am waiting these to come I stock any way, which im guessing will deffantly void it?
