The grille badge on my car is absolutely knackered, all peeling and disgusting looking, I have a lovely new shiny one to go on, but I just can't get the old one off!
Its held on by adhesive, and located using two plastic pins that go through the grille.
I've tried heating it up for 20 minutes with a hairdryer, pushing at the pins from behind and trying to get thin fishing line behind, but none of its working.
I have been told that drilling a self tapping screw into the centre and then pulling on that is an option, But I was wondering if anyone on here had any other ideas that won't damage the paintwork, I could try first?
Here's a pic of the offending item, it doesn't show it very well but its sunk into a slight recess and is only protruding out by 3-4mm
