What would be the best way of removing the big sun in the middle of this photo? Is the only way to clone the branches in PS or is there a way of doing it?
Thanks.

That is probably the best option, you could burn the highlights and shadows to see if you can recover any shape in the bright branches.
Not many other options.

okhaving experimented, the clone tool is to fiddly to get a nice connection between branches.
I found this to be the best method.

First, burn the branches. Select the burn tool at about 25% and select shadows. Make them fairly black.
Next get the patch tool and accurate draw around the brighness circle, them move the patch to the best matching area that connects the largest branches.
The using the paint brush tool select the colour of the branches and draw in any necessary connections to make the picture look more realistic, using some more burn tool to get a good match of blacks.
i ended up with this.

That looks really good ChroniC, well done. But I just can't seem to do it so i'll guess I won't be taking pictures of the sun in future :)
