Hope someone can help, i need to remove a Laptop HDD but cannot work out how to do it. On most laptops its just a case of removing some screws and its hidden behind a flap but not this one.

Them make of the Laptop is generic i think as it only says : Notebook computer underneath but it does have a model number D27ES and Clevo Co.

any help would be appreciated

often its under the keyboard or touchpad area.
post an image of the underside and we will be able to help more

From a quick search apparantly Clevo/Kapok are rather like a generic brand so I presume they tend to sell laptop barebones that other manufacturers fill up with their own parts. I can't find their website though unfortunately.

What can you remove on the laptop? On my Advent laptop the hard drive was underneath the palmrest in front of the keyboard so I'd see if you can lift up the palmrest as I think that is a fairly common location.

you may have to unscrew some screws that may or may not be hidden by other panels (had to remove CDrom on my sony to get to it)
