Removing LFD2 Demo From Steam?

Does anyone know how to do it? I dont want it in my list of games.

just delete it and local content, it'll go away after a while

What Bledd said or you can right click L4D2 and select DLC. In there you should be able to see the demo and delete it.

No i dont have the full game, but the demo has been put there without my doing, it is not installed it is just sitting there in my non installed games.

I want to remove it from there for good.

i have the full game and clicked remove, but it came back the next time i loaded steam. not a problem, but maybe they will just remove it after a while

The demo showed up in my Windows "Add/Remove programs" I just un installed it from there

Hmm it's not a massive problem just a niggling little annoyance really, i am very particular with things like there.

Didnt realise the demo was hidden by the full game, thats a few gig of space i can free up.

yeah i thought that the game would just add onto and overwrite the demo

Hmm? Mine did, I originally had the demo but it got overwritten and either integrated into the retail or removed from the system by itself.

That's what I thought but when I was browsing through the steam folder the data was still there in the gigs. So I deleted it manually.

I wish you could group games into folders in steam, instead of just favourite / non favourite / not installed

It'll disappear when they decide to remove the demo from peoples accounts.
It's still showing on my games list in my profile, but it isn't actually on my games list in Steam as I've bought the full game, but like Tobes, the demo files are still in my Steam directory.

agreed, i have loads of games i have purchased from years back that i would never install and have a long list i could do with clearing or grouping in a folder
