Removing Live account from 360

Hi

I got a mate who recovered his gamertag on my xbox and then went home and recovered on his. Ever since that I get a message when my console has loaded saying that his profile was recovered else where and would need to be recovered from mine again.

Is there any way to get rid of his gamertag on my machine?

System > Memory > Hard Drive > Gamer Profiles , select his and delete?
