Removing Motherboard and CPU?

Hi Guys

I know this will be a REALLY stupid question to most of you, but I'm selling my PC in parts, and I have a guy coming to collect my Motherboard and Processor.

Do I have to remove the processor or can the mobo and cpu come out together and stay together?

Apologies for the stupid question - I didn't put the PC together so I don't want any balls ups taking it apart!

If the guy buys both CPU + Motherboard. You can leave it there, no need to take the CPU out of its socket.
