Removing MSN contacts from Outlook Express?

How do I remove my nieces MSN Messenger contacts from Outlook express on my Dads PC?

His grandaughters use his PC to chat to friends etc, but, Outlook seems to add their contacts to his in outlook, disable MSN and they go away, trouble is, as soon as the kids use MSN they return.

Any ideas?
 
The problem is, if you delete those contacts you will also lose them in the msn account they are linked to.

Is this XP using the default Messenger that comes pre-installed?....

If so, you can disable it from starting and hence preventing it loading whenever outlook express is opened. Then just install the newer Live Messenger, which i don't think intergrates in the same way.

You'll need to be on XP Professional to use the disable function.

Can you tell me what OS this is on and which messenger version you are referring to.

XP Home (typical!) and using std Messenger.
 
Be careful since you can also delete them off the MSN account too by accident! I lost a lot of contacts that way :(
