Removing music from Icloud library

I ditched spotify to try out apple music, due to better restricted content for my son. I turned on icloud music on my phone so I could use it like spotify and stream stuff from playlists.

Then I ****ed up.

I enabled icloud music on my pc and the stuff started to sync to the cloud, thereby dumping all this music onto all our devices. I now have no option but to have it all there? I can't find anywhere to remove all that stuff from the cloud.

Do I have to manually delete it all from all our devices? Seems crazy I can't just mass erase what has been uploaded?

It is my understanding that it just shows up on the devices and has to be downloaded at a later date (i.e. when it is used) therefore it doesn't take up space etc... Can still be annoying if you don't want all the files etc... appearing on the device.

Thanks, finding the whole apple music totally frustrating. All I want is a streaming service which I find pretty excellent. But to use it I have to turn on icloud music library on the phone. Again fair enough, but if I do that I can no longer find a way to dump audio books onto the phone. I thought I would be able to just whack the files onto a play list and sync them. I can do that if I turn off icloud library but then I can't use apple music.

If I dump the files onto my phone then turn on icloud music the files and playlist dissapear even if I merge. Damn frustrating when all I want to do is put some audio book files on the phone.
