I was just abouts to remove my MK3 Mondeo instrument cluster as a bulb has blown but as I couldn't figure out how it comes out I thought i'd take a look in the old Haynes manual and it warns to disconnect the battery or else the airbags will go off???
I know that a few people on here have them so someone else will hopefully be able to advise me if this is really the case. I really don't wanna disconnect it as I don't have the code for the CD player, and i can't get the code as i need the serial number off the head unit which i can't get as i don't have the removal keys yet.
If so it's a bloody good job the screws were hard to find or that little job could have got expensive!
