I've got a client PC which previously had a KMS-activated version of Office 2010 on. That PC is now a home PC and as a result, has had Office uninstalled.
The customer has now bought their own copy of Office 2010, but somehow, the old KMS key keeps being applied, resulting in Office saying that it cannot be activated. When we put their key in manually, it just says it's not valid for this installation. ARGH!
I've been messing around with the cscript ospp.vbs commands, trying to somehow disable the KMS keys/host, but it's having none of it. Everytime i clear out the registry and do a complete reinstall.. BOOM!
any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
