Hi Guys,
Can someone tell me how to remove the office tool bar that pop up everytime my friends computer is booted (Win98) please.

Thx

Close it with the small windows symbol in the title bar and it asks if you want it to start every time - say no.

and / or

remove from Programs/Startup on start menu (move icon out of Startup and put it elsewhere under programs in case they want it back).

Strangely, i couldnt see it in the startup dir... will try the minimise thing though.... no obvious setting.

Add/Remove Programs in control panel - go to Office, click 'change' and under Office Tools click the Office Toolbar to 'not available'. It will be gone unless you reinstall it.

If you just want to disable it click Start - run - type msconfig and press enter, go to startup and untick the Office bar. Click ok and reboot and it shouldn't start
