Hi

I sprayed in a small patch on a sill on my car...however i guess i didnt mask off enough of the car because if you look very closely at the rear window there is dust size spots of paint on it. You would not notice it at all but its annoying me.

Does anybody know how to remove it ?

Thanks

Ignore all other suggestions. Get some Autoglym Car Glass Polish. It removes anything, even mustard. Leave your windows really shiny too. Apply with something soft - a polishing cloth is ideal. :)

Just use a stanley blade. Take it out of the knife, hold it as close to the glass as you can, scrape slowly, the paint may come off in one, or may need a little rubbing. (dont use the edges)

After its off just use the polish to buff it up, job done.

The easiest and best option is just use paint thinners for the paint you were using. White spirit won't work because that is for thinning emulsion. What you want is Cellulose thinners avliable at any motor factors.

Tried glass polish stuff already. was no good.

You sure you're cleaning it from the right side???

Nail polish remover ought to do it (Acetone). DO NOT get it anywhere near any other paintwork though. Just dampen some tissue and wipe it for a bit and it should get it off easy as pie!

Cellulose thinners will take it off, but as said be carefull not to get it on any paintwork. Failing that, you can simly use T-Cut to remove it, though that will require a little more elbow grease.

Brake fluid. And I'm not joking :) but do keep it away from your paintwork as it'll go straight through it
