removing recently added in itunes?

Hi

Is it possible to remove the recently added smart bar in the my music part of itunes 12? I certainly don't need it and makes my music messy.

Click the drop-down menu in the top right. It should say Songs, Albums, Artists, Composers or Genre depending on your view.

Then uncheck "Show Recently Added"
