Hi guys, i have a fair few minor scratches on my macbook, and was wondering if anyone has had any success in removing theirs. If so, what product did you use? Ive thought of using 'Tcut' or something similar and have even heard that 'Brasso' works. But i dare not try!
Thanks

ahhh im with ya now. I need something for the polished 'plastic' of the white macbook.

On a more serious note, google iCleaner, it's designed for iPods but should work well.

Some guitar polishes can work as well iirc.

I want to save you ruining your macbook, I had a faulty power adaptor which as you know is of the same material, so after it broken I tested out some of the techniques as I wanted to return my ibook to former glory, sadly brillo, and all the others scratch, or discolour the white of the macbook and iclean and iklear only clean off dirt and smears.

There probably isn't any solution that will fix the scratches to be honest without some serious polishing using gritted polishing stuff.

Ha ca9phoenix thats not how it works....

iPods and iPhones are small devices and are swapped out and there is a known issue with the mute button on the 3G iphone however the macbook does not have an issue with buttons falling off, besides they are easy to replace if you want to pay £150 for a new top case... They do not replace the whole machine just because one button fell off, and they would probably not replace the top case free because the button's don't just fall off they have to be broken off by the user.
