Have googled this and got a couple of suggestions but wondered if anyone had anything better than either buying a specific tool or buying a screw extractor kit.
My padlock broke. No idea what happened, but it's a combination one that just decided to not open. I've cut the actual latch off using some bolt cutters but there are the parts attached to the shed which i can't remove.
There's also a bolt which doesn't line up which i'd like to move but it also uses these screws.
I can either
a - Buy a screw extractor kit.
b - Use an angle grinder to remove the screw heads and either try and work out the rest of the screw or just brackets over them
c - Abandon these entirely and fit a new latch above/below
At the moment i've used a hammer to whack the bolt into the latch but it's not an ideal scenario - Mainly because the hammer belongs in the shed!
