removing stains from coffeecups?

Add hot water, pop in a teaspoonful of washing powder and leave for a couple of minutes, then wipe clean.

The detergent dissolves the caffeine stains.

All those asking why not as per not using bleach...well, bleach is poisonous and i wouldnt take the risk regardless of it being rinsed well or not. And those of you saying it should be mixed with other stuff...not a good idea either, you could create a dangerous fume in the process e.g Chlorine...

My opinion anyway.

Bleach isn't like anthrax or something. Just rinse it well and he'll be fine.

As for creating dangerous fumes, it's very unlikely unless he starts mixing a lot of chemicals of a volatile nature.

My mum washes them with salt from time to time and that get the stains out. Just put a bit of salt in the cup a little bit of water and give it a good old scrubb!
