hi guys, just wondered if anyone had any tips on how to remove sticky backed foam from painted plastic on a car?

Thanks a lot :)

it was attaching some fiat stick on tat, so its pretty stuck, not sure wether water will do the job!

The hair dryer will warm up the glue, and the water would just help the stuf fto peel off.

I'd say use a 'caramel wheel' but, it might melt the plastic under the paint if your not careful.
So I'm going to agree with the credit card and gently heat from a hairdryer.

Whats a caramel wheel?

It's a rubber wheel on a shaft normally used in a die grinder to remove stick on stripes etc from car paint. It's nearly always called a 'caramel wheel' because its caramel colour and smells like caramel when you use it.
