Removing sticky residue???

Yo,

Does anyone have some tips on removing sticky residue from circuit board please?

I installed a custom cooler on my 480 the other day and unfortunately NVIDIA decided to put this horrible long sticker over the screws that hold part of the backplate in place, and when taken off it leaves a big sticky mark

I heard pure alchol (99%+) is the best thing? Although I wouldn't know where to get that, perhaps a pharmacist?

Any help appreciated

I would try some alcohol wipes, have a look on the internet for some

Isopropyl alcohol or white spirit will remove it.

Isopropyl alcohol, i wouldnt reccomend white spirit, it will leave an oily residue behind, unlike isopropyl which will evaporate from the surface.
