Removing stock top on a D5...

Having a hell of a time removing one - anyone remind me which direction you are supposed to turn it (and/or any tips)?

Thanks but there is no way I'm getting it unscrewed like that (0:28 onwards) having to practically try and use a spanner to even move it a mm and he seems to unscrew it with his finger tips?

For anyone who's done this before how difficult was it to remove?

ive done it a few times with my D4 which is bassicaly the same pump and found it very easy.

Didn't have an issue with mine either when I added a X-top.

Thanks for the replies - it's not new but as it pumps okay I'm guessing that as it's been used the o-ring is acting like a suction cup and holding onto the housing.

It's like the worst pickled (veg) jar ever...

Managed to finally get it open after spending nearly 2 hours (on and off)...

Heated it up with a hair dryer and with some rubber bands and a tea towel it's finally off!
