Removing Stone Chips/Scratches

No, last primer I used was zinc industrial grey and it shouldnt show through if your doing it right. Dont leave the primer exposed to any moisture or you may get problems with rust
 
The morning dew will be when its most likely to get wet apart from the rain. Primer doesnt repel water at all apparently and thats all it takes for future paint bubbles, etc
