Removing the fan of a Q8400

I'm having to RMA my motherboard as one of the DIMM slots is borked, the fan is the one that ships with the CPU and has the four points that push through and then lock on the other side.

How the hell do you get it to unlock?

Twist the black tab on top and pull up, this will release the pin

Like a screw, you twist the 4 black tabs anticlockwise to release. (or clockwise if you're installing)
