Hey guys,

I'm wanting to reapply my thermal paste but need to remove it first. I haven't done this before so i researched online and found out that the one of the best cleaning fluids is Rubbing Alcohol

Ive found this, ** Linking to competitors is strictly prohibited - Please read FAQs regarding rules **Does it seem OK?

Go to your local Chemist and ask them for a bottle of IPA. If they don't have any then ask for a bottle of Acetone. I find a glasses cleaning cloth with either of the above works best. I would remove that link by the way as it's a competitor selling that IPA ;)

Isopropanol from chemists.

Got a 500ml bottle for £5 about 8 years ago and still only used half of it :)

Dont smoke or burn candles near it though :)

I use Isopropyl Alcohol you can get it off ebay for a couple of quid or so, had some anyway, good for cleaning off sticky labels etc as well

Is the spray isopropyl alcohol as good as the liquid form?

Was only thinking about purity because of expellant, but can't be any worse than fragrances added to other TIM cleaners.
