Removing upper and lower bars in Firefox?

Just moved to Windows 7 and I didn't have this problem in XP

What's the really obvious thing I'm missing to remove the upper and lower bars which are transparent and show the desktop behind them?

You mean the top Title bar and the Taskbar?

They're there in XP too..

You can set the Taskbar to autohide if you wish...


Also, if you press F11, Firefox'll go FULL screen

its because youre using aero glass. (transparent taskbar)
