removing usb conections?

quick question, do you have to remove usb conects like you would on a pc by telling you are removing the use on the pc then removing it? i cant se anyway to remove them on my macbook pro? do i just pull them out?

You drag them to the trash can to eject them and then you can remove them physically - or click on the eject icon to the right of them in finder

USB does true hot plugging. Windows, OSX, Linux, whatever, all should detect when a device has been removed. No need to eject it beforehand.
