how can i remove vista without affecting my other hd with xp on

i do dual boot so do i just boot from my xp cd select the recovery console then enter the two commandsmarc2003 said:if you were dual booting, boot from the xp cd as if you were running setup. on the first screen you'll have the option to use the recovery console. choose this and then enter the admin password and you'll be at a command prompt. run these 2 commands.....
fixboot
fixmbr
now reboot and you should get back into your previous windows version without being prompted to choose vista. now you can safely format/delete your vista partition.![]()

disk1
c:\win xp
d:\my documents
disk2
e:\data
f:\vista
and it's always worked for me. no problem.![]()
