Tomorrow I'm going on a hunt for a Clay Bar/Quik Clay but I recently waxed my car. Is there any easy way to strip the wax off so I can make effective use of the clay bar?

Clay is made to remove everything that's on the paint to give you a fresh surface to work on. Including waxes.

Fairly liquid will do the job.

Yes I know it's harsh stuff but it'll strip the wax right off, as long as you are gonna clay, polish and wax it straight afterwards you should be fine.

Yep. Alternatively there is Virosol (diluted at 5:1), P21s Body Wash, a 50/50 mix of IPA and water etc. As stated before though, the clay will remove the wax anyway.
