Removing windows from hard drive

Hey guys,

How do i completely remove windows 8?

I am selling a machine and I am trying to remove windows 8 from the main drive but not install another is there anyway to do that? I am going to use the install in another so I cant leave any trace of it behind.

Im just not sure what to do.

Need help ASAP!!

Connect the HDD to a different machine and use Disk Management to perform a full format (Vista and above).

or use DBAN. One pass of zeroes will be fine. http://www.dban.org/

I cant connect the drive to any other machines as i don't have any.
So I guess I will have to use Dban.

Anyone know any other way to remove windows from main hard drive? I cant use the disk as all it does is reinstall windows does not give you the option to format the drive either.
