removing windows media player

I installed the wmp 11 beta, but its screwing up my pc. It doesn't appear in the programs list, so i cannot remove it. I also tried removing it from the windows programs list. But that didn't work. I need to remove it before it will let me reinstall wmp10. Any ideas?

I'm guessing you could try a system restore but to uninstall WMP11 you can use the control panel and it is listed as a Windows XP Software Update, so make sure you have ticked the box saying "show updates"

beta means be prepared for it to not function as you'd expect

as with IE7beta, loads of people were crying after installing that!
