Renaming File Extension batch program?

Hi guys,

I've got a load of VOB files that I need to rename as AVI ... is there a quick way of doing this?

Command Prompt :

ren *.vob * .avi

Right ... the files are on my server, address //server/MyMusicVideos

How do I get to this location through command prompt?

Drive letter :.

For example my mapped drive of a server is my Z drive, so I simply type z:

Then simply navigate to the right folder using cd foldername
