renault clio

Hi, my girlfriend is looking for a first car. She has seen an old renault clio, N reg for £450. Looks quite nice, but before we go and get a test drive I'd like your advice.

I have a Nissan Micra - old but very reliable are renault clios the same?

What are your opinions on renault clios?

The Micra will be more reliable than the Clio. Theres not a great deal goes wrong with them.

In my personal experiances it's been the other way round

Other halfs micra, whilst not costing a bomb, has had more spent on it in 2 years than our old 1.2 H reg Clio that had over 100k on the clock did in 12! I used and abused that Clio for 2 of those years (was my mums car), it was legendary

However I'd still look at both, but buy something in good condition.
