It isn't a World Series by Renault event this year.
Only the Formula Renault 3.5 Series (Two races) is running during the FIA World Endurance Championship event at Silverstone.

On the upside, it's only £35 for a weekend ticket, so won't be full of ****** and chavs again like it has been when free and also has LMP and LM GTE cars racing.
Looks like it could be a good cheap weekend of racing actually.

Like I said before though, £35 for a full weekend of LeMans Prototype and GT cars, with a 6 hour endurance race is bloody good value for money though really, and will hopefully keep out all the alcoholic ****** who just saw it as an excuse to sit in the stands and neck Fosters all day long.
I went to the LMS race there a few years back. There was about 10 people there.
There won't be any of the merchandise stalls their, or any of the Renault stands and events and test drivers, and half the series' that were there before wont be racing either.
The LMS race also gets very boring after a while, so much so that we went into the paddock bar and watched the F1.
Sign of the times though really. Renaults marketing budget doesn't stretch to a 2 day all out event for 50,000 people any more. WSR used to be Silverstone's 2nd biggest event!
