I work in the IT industry and in the past have built my own workstations. For various reasons, which I won’t bore you with, I would like to acquire a pre-built guaranteed workstation. This machine will allow me to do development work for companies, as well as being used as my personal PC. I should say also that I am not a huge gamer.
I have been impressed with the specs of the Renda range of workstations and reviews suggest that while not the quietest machine, they are well built and well specked, which is reflected by the price. At those prices, I would expect, not only a good reliable fast machine but excellent after sales support also. The parts offered in these machines are indeed impressive.
Here is my worry. I have looked at a number of companies over the last 2 months and their reviews are mixed to say the least. Overclockers in particular look a professional company but there are many worrying negative reviews of after sales service that I have read on the internet. In a nutshell they indicate that as long as you get a good machine all is fine but don’t have a problem. It is these reviews that have so far stopped me doing business with your company. To spend between £2,000 and £4,000 without this piece of mind is a worry.
Is there anybody who has purchased one of these machines on this forum? I would welcome any feedback on their impressions of the machine and particularly Overclockers after sales service. I hope asking such questions does not get me barred from this forum but I need to know as the cost of the PC is significant.
No offence intended to Overclockers it’s just a concern.
