Renewable energy from walking

It's a good idea. I often think why don't they attach air conditioner units to tumble driers or something like that to reduce energy waste.

It's like getting the heat from railways (underground) and converting that into usable energy for the buildings above, and the cold feed would come back down to the underground cooling it down.

So many good ways of recycling energy, but the outlay is so massive that you won't see a return for decades.

Lowering tone!

I'm a restless sleeper you cheeky sod...

:p

Keep to your side figit ****!

edit. according to that survey, Birmingham is become more popular. I know, lets build an over expensive rail-link at the expense of the NHS.

It's called heat recovery. We sell machines at work which are powered by gas, generating electricity at a higher efficiency and lower cost than the grid, the by-product of which is heat, which is then used to heat domestic hot water.

The great issue than outlay, I think, is the fact that we, in this country, are so unwilling to change our ways that breaking into a market and changing it is almost impossible. I have an uphill struggle with this every day.
