hi all

i have fitted some new Renthal Ultra low bars to the Hornet

have left them to full size (not cut them), i am using a pair of Tuano Mirrors.

if i have the levers on either side up against the switch gears the mirrors hang out a lot, what is the norm for over hanging mirrors? should they be in line with the bar ends? Ie not to stick out further then the bar ends?

pic of them fitted

I have moved the levers way from the switch gears a little, which have pulled the mirrors in a little

just after some opinions, do I need new narrower mirrors? or is it a matter of performance choice?

Thanks

Did they stick out like that with the oldbars on? Looks alright to me just be aware of the extra width when filtering ect

Edit they can stick out past the bars, upto the riders preference

thanks,

just looking back at older pics of the bike and yes they did stick out a lot

seems i am more concious of them now after fitting the Renthals lol

il play it by ear and see how i get a long on a ride out

It's up to you really. If you like the look and it doesn't cause problems with filtering etc. then stick with them. I personally don't like those, they don't flow with the bike. Smaller ones would work, or bar end ones do work quite nicely on a Hornet (if you like that style).
