Not sure if you mean online longer term renting, but Blockbusters in Basildon are renting out Xbox360 games.

Locally Blockbuster are charging about £4.50 for a 360 rental.
Considering that Game rent them out for free........

The vouchers I've had have all been "gift vouchers," no mention of me making any money out of it.

two are valid until June 30th: JG30 & MG30. one is valid until the end of the year: RADAH.

So

In the three weeks I've been with them, I've yet to receive any of the '360 titles on my list (I've only gone through 5 DVDs though). Oh, I went to cancel last night, as my trial would have ran out today, and they offered my the £14.99 package for £9.99 for a month. Nice

I'll probably cancel after that, though, not really making good use of it.

Bet most people have done this

If there offering game rentals, as theres so few 360 games compared with DVDs, hopefully theyll have more copies to rent of each game? Can see it taking a while tho

I'm getting a bit worried about swapgame now. I've only had two games from them in 2 weeks. I sent my last game back on Monday and they've not acknowledged a return yet. If it gets lost in the post, I hope they don't charge me £45 because I didn't get a proof of posting. :mad:

I Signed up for ScreenSelect Yesterday as There is a promotion with i would guess a competiver where you get 2 x £10 off vouchers if you take the trail.

So im getting 5 free dvd's / 21 days which ever is sooner and 2 x £10 vouchers to spend on PC/Console games / DVD's and some hardware.

So i think i have the best deal

Ive just ended my trial with screenselect, i have to say the turn around is amazingly fast, i always have my new stuff within 2 days of sending old stuff back, very cheap compared to others.

What i dont like is despiute the priority they send out your DVD's first, im on the 3 @ £13.49 deal and they have sent out the 2 dvd's but the 5 360 games that are in my selection are still there...i want my third disc

I originally rated Screen select. Now I think they are pap. I didnt get enough games, then when you drop below 10 they freeze your account til you add more. Which have to be dvds because there are not enough 360 games yet to add to a list.

Unless you can add 10 plus games you want, i wouldnt bother joining a rental just yet. In 12 months time these places maybe excellent but for now its too early.

Plus as a warning my trial ran to the 8th of june. I cancelled on the 6th. The sent me a dvd on the 6th and then billed me a full month because the disc wasnt back to them by the 8th. Make sure you cancel early and they have all the dvds back before you cancel.
