I'm not so fussed about being surrounded by hipsters and/or whether the place has a pool table and smoothie bar etc.. (so perhaps looking more at the regular office providers than the likes of "we work" etc..) but would be nice to have access to some flexible office space and was wondering if anyone on here has used these sorts of places before.

Preference for an actual desk, doesn't have to have a phone, don't need an office but just a proper desk with a power socket. There seem to be a range of solutions out there that mention co-working and being able to take out a membership for say a few days a month - this is pretty much what I'm after - somewhere I can go on some weekends, some days off and/or some evenings.

I noticed some of these places apparently have 24/hour access - i.e. Regus etc.. I wonder does that apply to people signing up for a "membership" where they they have access to multiple locations or only people renting a specific desk or small office.

The other slightly confusing thing is the different categories of memberships - for example you can get stuff like business lounge membership, co-working membership (which can be flexible or booking a specific desk) and office membership. What isn't clear is if I look at the different locations I can't tell necessarily whether the co-working membership just involves getting say a seat at a table or access to a seat at a proper desk. The business lounge stuff is presumably just access to the building and almost certainly just a seat or a seat at a table bunched next to others.

Obviously I can take a look at some of these providers next week but I was wondering if anyone had any feedback, comments... just interested in general experiences from people here as they could be useful.

Also things like how busy these places tend to be from say 6-9pm and on weekends would be interesting.
