Renting CSS server noob question

Noob with a server
Noob question on renting a CSS server.
I am considering renting a CSS server and I wanted to no if you have to upload steam and all the maps for CSS to be able to play online through steam.

I also need the mani mod so I guess I will need to upload that as well.
Anyone no of a guide to do this stuff or has personal experience to guide me through?

You do need to FTP all the non-standard maps. Such as the aim maps, texture maps etc, if you want them, otherwise you just get the standard server that ships with steam. Ive personally never set up a server, but you may get help on my clans forum. Just dont expect a speedy reply.

Most game server providers (Jolt, Multiplay, RTL-Servers, Rackage etc) have an option on the site in which you can choose what Admin mod you want, like Mani for example. Uploading any custom maps you want have to been uploaded via an FTP, but its really easy to do so.
