The closer to the sidewall the less likely a repair will be made. Also 2 intrusions within close proximity will also call for a "professional" fix i.e. the local tyre fitter won't take a risk.

I use those 2 quid repair strips which can do 3 punctures per kit so what's that cost 66p a repair? Iv used it on my fiesta and not a single leak
