impressive - what was behind decision to cooky cut/weld several segments ? was that down to challenge of bending a large piece of steel.
you just used an angle grinder or reciprocating saw , too ?
Yeah made it a lot easier to butt weld and shape panels than doing it in one massive chunk as obviously in a wheel arch there are a lot of contours. Did this two years ago and just cleaned the arches last week and still no rust there so holding up so far.
All cut out with a angle grinder with cutting disc yeah.
The scary thing was it was just the dog legs on the back doors that were initially rusty but removing the arch liners revealed a whole lot of horrors! The rest of the car is completely rust free however.
