hey guys, my gf has a great big scratch on the screen of here iphone rafter handing it to some one who wanted to have a look at it.

Anyone know where you can get scratches on the screen repaired or if there is something she could do to get rid of it herself?

Thanks.

I thought that until i got the rough end of my USB stick and stuck the two together :o

Still, very unlucky that it scratched as soon as they got hold of it.

Well no but she's the sort of person that doesn't really care for technology usually and if she breaks something (the girl that the phone was passed on to) she doesn't really care.

Ah well, if there's nothing that can be done, then thanks anyway.

Its not a heavy scratch really, just, noticable, you cant feel it, so maybe its just the screen protecter thats marked, either way, could glasses scratch remover work do you think?

Is there anyway you could take a photo of it so we can see how deep it is?

You could try glass scratch remover, might not work though.

Take it to a watch menders/jewelers... they'll probably be able to help. You wont be able to get it back to like new... but could probably be improved.

You my friend, are awesome!!!! *virtual high five* thank you!!

:) no probs.

Like I said its alllll about the feedback, most of these will have multiple negs, just look out for ones selling OEMs that have lots of bad feedback saying that they are cheap copies.

Chances are they are all copies but the ones with loads of bad feedback saying it ar e selling bad copies where as the ones with a few bad feedback are selling good copies.

I've rehoused loads of phones through ebay, its easy.

Oh, and when you come to do it, pay LOTS of attention to how it comes apart so you can do the steps backwards, I've screwed this up a few times and its incredibly frustrating as they come with no instructions!
