Repairing Windows XP with a different flavour?

I want to clone from a PC running XP Pro to a tablet PC and then repair the install using a Tablet 2005 CD.

Before I attempt it does anyone know whether it will allow me to do so? I know you can't do if its home repairing a pro install.
